TAAG Steelwork, working in conjunction with Galliford Try, are about to commence work to construct the brand new Leisure Centre in Darwen, Lancashire

The leisure centre will stand on the site of the former leisure centre in Green Street. The centrepiece will be a 25-metre, eight-lane competition swimming pool. It will have a movable floor (funded by Sport England) so it can be split for competitive and leisure use.
There will also be spectator seating, fitness suite, health suite, sports hall, café, changing facilities, 63-space car park, learners' pool, activity rooms, a gym and a cafe.
